I finished off a set of D&D figures on Saturday,
A large Demon.

A Nightmare and a Hag. The Nightmare was supposed to have flaming hooves, mane and tail, but sadly I couldn't find a suitable figure (it's for a friend), so had to make do with painting the hair on a normal horse in a flame pattern.

That first one could be used in 40K as a chaos undivided demon, how big is it?
And you painted your first "My little Pony" how cute :P

It's pretty big, as tall as the old greater daemons.
The MLP has a pair of severed heads hanging off it's saddle on the other side, which reduces it's 'kawaii' a little, but it still lacks the sense of menace it ought to have.

I'm still not back in painting mode after the holidays, but I did order Zoraida and some tree dudes (for Malifaux) from Firestorm this morning!
Feel free to call me Dave!

I played WHFB before I started sci-fi gaming. It's that I shelved everything when GW in their great wisdom decided to do away with my Egyptian undead back in 6th to 7th ed change.

Just spent my first evening of hobby time for 2017 gluing old favourites back together. This included a lot of fantasy minis, a Dreadfleet ship which I plan to repaint and a well loved piece of Warhammer scenery from 7th edition. The wizards watch tower has a bitter sweet feel to it and I find myself getting almost misty eyed and emotional as it reminds me of very good times in Japan. In particular it was first used at the start of a campaign for Warhammer fantasy roleplay with Lovejoy and Egor back in 2010 called Death on the Reik. Many hours of fun geeking out with minis and RPGs in my tiny yet sweltering apartment. There was something cathartic about dusting these off and making sure it had all happened. I recall a hobby day in Japan where Satoru and myself spent the whole afternoon in silence painting Dreadfleet ships. Hobby bliss. We decided the games club had become an old mans painting club by that stage. I do miss those days when everything was carefree and simpler.

Best of luck with your projects everyone. Fantastic work on the minis so far this year! :o
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
