Scream for me San Tiago, scream for me San Tiagooo!
Just popping in to say hi. No hobby stuff to report apart from a wip on a few Planet of the Apes minis on horseback. Pics soon this side of Christmas. :)
Hope all is well.

I went up to Ichinomiya last night for the PMG group's game night. Had a 3-way game of Shadespire, which was good fun (I tied for second! Which isn't saying much in a 3-way game. :D), and a quick 2 on 2 intro-ish game of 40K. A good bunch of guys! Today I'm hoping to get pretty much finished with my Aggressors, although there's not much on my painting plate once they're done.

Been doing jack-all hobby wise. Work and stuff and dying computers and real life interfering again. Found a "transcript" of the new Necromunda rules on reddit. Some madman went through and sorted, organized, cut out the fluff and images and re-typed what looks like pretty much the whole thing. Apparently translating it from French to English at the same time, if I am not mistaken. Only just started going through it, but looks very, very interesting so far. Squat-Goliaths will rock the Hive at some point in the near future.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

I finished up these guys this afternoon:

No, they don't have Storm Bolters, they have Boltstorm Gauntlets, geez!

Seriously, I really dig these models and I like how they came out. We'll see if I can resist the temptation a squad of 6 offers...

Nice! Are those Launch Missilers on their back?

Great work Dave. :) They look great, and the models are much nicer than the centurions that preceded them.

Just Grenade Fraggers*, sadly for an all-Primaris force's anti-tank prospects.

*I'm semi-embarrassed to admit that their official name is Fragstorm Grenade Launchers.

Well, at least you don't play Blood Angels or Space Wolves. Their weapon names are cringe worthy.

Thanks! I'm a big fan of this mark of armor. They're actually more Terminator sidegrades than Centurions - 2 wounds, T5, 3+ save with no invulnerable. Ridiculous buckets o' dice, though.

Those are very nice not-terminators, ToD. I generally dont much care for spess mahveens, but those chaps get the thumbs up from me, both for the pj and even the sculpt.

As for me, I've been caught up, nay, swept up in a wave of sudden and irresistable interest in MtG. After a 7 year lapse, I'm well and truly back on the wagon again. I dunno why the game captivates me like it does. Summat about the bajillion ways you can approach any given problem just tickles the "obsessive gamer" node in my brain (we all have one of those, dont we? :? ) Anyway, I've been trying my very bestest to keep things under control, and as such have spent the past few nights going through my old cards (well, not that old. Just Lorwyn/Shadowmoor stuff) and working out if there's owt I can sell to try to claw myself back to financial neutrality. It looks...doable, actually. Some o them cards have aged well, which is nice. Also, I've spent my daytime hours (and not a few evening ones) working on the last of Kbear's Valks. With luck (and some effort, I reckon) I can have them done by Sunday. Of course this is the week my sometimes-employer finds a whole passel of classes that need covered . Eh, can't complain about gainful employment, I suppose. ;)

Also - howdy Ash-san. Ohisashiburi da ne. All good where you are, I hope?
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...
