Nagoya October Games Day: 10/21 at E-able Nagoya
Re: Nagoya October Games Day: 10/21 at E-able Nagoya
I would be happy to rumble against some chaos! How many points should I bring this month?
I do have a D&D game starting at 4, so I won't be able to stay late, but I'm sure we'll get done before then.

@ Auxryn, Tallageese: Want to go 2-v-1 or all out 3-way? I believe there is a mission in the book for 3 way fight.Auxryn wrote:I would be happy to rumble against some chaos! How many points should I bring this month?

We could go 1k a player? Any preference?

The 3-way mission looks fun! Of course, an epic all-day battle could be a lot of fun too!
I'll get to work on a 1000 point and a 2000 point list.
@Tallgeese - What does Khorne want?

Hey guys, can we keep it to 1k game? I’ll be leaving about 1pm. I need to swing by work afterwards to take care of some stuff.

A 1k army will be much easier for me to bring anyway. Let's do that.

Thanks. I would have been keen on a large brawl, but the number of tasks plus a business trip on Tokyo, dinner with the family and a welcome party in the evening are conspiring to keep me from playing longer.

1k is also fine for me (erm I mean khorne)!
Re: Nagoya October Games Day: 10/21 at E-able Nagoya
@ Tallageese, Auxryn: Thank you for that well fought game. Auxryn, you clearly took home the trophy and Tallageese was a clear second, just lacking a survivor (although great success for Khrone who won countless skulls today). And thank you for allowing to play out an extra round to eek out a moral point. That and slaying my nemesis - the grots - (and actually slaying some stuff with my Blood Slaughterer) has me feeling I came away with win for myself. Of course, just playing a good game like that was victory enough for me. GG.
@Primarch: Thank you for the mini swap. I’ll look forward to the AWI read too.

Thanks to Konrad and the Gaslands gang for the games today. It was loads of (wacky, unpredictable, high-speed and crazed) fun.
@Job - Enjoy the book, it's a good read.

Gaslands is indeed a gas. It will be hard not to bring home a Tomica or two every time I pass a toy department from now on. The rule book is a dense, 12 mm margin/8pt type slog, but once you get rolling (sorry) it seems to handle pretty well. Walking home from the bunkasenta I seemed to view the cars in traffic a bit differently.
And got in a quick Kill-Team game. Finally got to face off against some other Orks. Managed to win, but had a truly scary moment when realized I had forgotten you can fire Assault weapons after Advancing and my cunning defensive line plan got a bit scorched. Really liking this new version. We really ought to make proper rosters and keep track of experience and things.

...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
