@M_i_J - That is gorgeous mate. Well done! The ladybird is a very nice touch. Keep this up and you'll be out on a hillside painting idyllic country scenes in no time.

@M_i_J - Do you varnish the card after you are done painting? I assume you sleeve it when playing to avoid rubbing the paint off?

Last night I finished and posted my latest entry for the painting challenge. I also plugged away at an Orc Blood Bowl team for the themed bonus round in the challenge. They're coming along okay, but I have a party to attend tomorrow night and the deadline is Saturday. Fingers crossed I can do everything that I need to, tonight.

A couple more bits for Blackstone done, the Negavolt Cultists and the Kroot explorer Dayhak Grekh.

Next up are the Ur-Ghuls, about which I am not excited, but then I wasn't about the Cultists either and they turned out OK.

I try. :D
Last night I finished off my Blood Bowl team with the exception of flock/tufts for the bases. Depending on how many beverages I quaff tonight, I may do that after I get home.

@ToD - I like the Kroot, especially the odd spot colours on his armband and in his hair/quills offset the green and brown nicely. The Negavolts look good too, though I think their poses are a little uninspired given the detail put into their design.

Thanks! I figured colorful beads were more appropriate for a kroot than precious metals. That little bit of static grass that made it into the paint on his cloak is going to haunt me though, I tell you what. Beastly stuff.

More dynamic poses on the cultists would have been nice, yeah - "advancing menacingly with cattle prods" is nice and all, but they could do better.

Ah ha! A fellow Emperor's Children! :D ;) It is the little things that cause big annoyance though!

I really like the Kroot Dave. Paint job is smooth and crisp, with a good color scheme and balance thanks to the repeated colours - the hair and belt buckle.
