Those are some good orcs!
Tonight I almost finished up Amlynn Shadowguide - my first Eldar (in 28mm anyway) since, geez, probably when the first metal Aspect Warriors were released? Which means I need to do some priming tonight - probably I'll do the rogue psykers next, then the Nagivator. Whee!

I'm looking forward to seeing Amlynn Jobtitle all painted up.

Nice work @ToD! Great figs, I'm so tempted to pick up Blackstone. Great Orks too @Prim.
So many games, so little time....

It's been a blast to paint. Speaking of, here's Amlynn:YellowStreak wrote:Nice work @ToD! Great figs, I'm so tempted to pick up Blackstone.

Including my idea of what camelioline would do on the blackstone fortess. It's right up against the edge of my freehand capabilities, and looks much better not blown up to 2 or 3 times actual size, heh.

@YS - Thanks.
@ToD - Awesome looking mini. Digital photography is both a blessing and a curse, but since most of us don't have a zoom function built in to our eyes, I wouldn't worry.

Psychedelic cloak!
So I've been thinking, would it be better if we each had hobby forum pages to post in progress stuff on. Often times stuff you want to post comments about are superseded by following posts and the cool stuff people do seem to get lost.

A few of us (used to) have individual hobby log threads in the sub forum for that. It may just be that my current high-output Blackstone spam is moving the thread too fast.jus wrote:Psychedelic cloak!

Re: What did you do today.
daisies. Never make me paint another daisy again. Please.
To be fair, I think my boredom with painting a gazillion tiny white and pink dots shows on this card. It looks ok, and I'm going to call it done, but it couldve been better. Still, again, I learn something. Todays lesson: Dont paint daisies.

also, @ Dave - that's a lovely eldar. Close up photography is the bane of us all - the mini no doubt looks fantastico in person (as all eldar always do, of course
)

That's a lot more tiny pink and white dots than I would ever have the patience to try painting!
