Put the final touches on my Shadow Deep ranger. I tried an experiment. Jenifer Haley did a Dark Sword ranger years ago in monochrome, so I thought I'd do the same. It's just Vallejo Air brown/black and Elcheapo craft acrylic off-white. Several degrees of awesome below the inspiration, but I'm pretty pleased with it.

Today I got some more minis painted and based.

First off, some more Dwarves for Dragon Rampant. This unit will be my leader and his bodyguard. The models come from Northstar's Oathmark range with a few minor conversions. (Hand/Weapon swaps on a couple of them).

And to provide some ranged support some small mechs, which will count as Lesser Warbeasts in game terms. The minis are from Warmachine originally.


And I also finished off some more Gurkhas, a 10 man unit and an MMG team for Bolt Action.

My Skyrim character I've been playing for well over two and a half years drank 4 bottles of Skooma today while out on an adventure. It took me a good 4 to 5 hours to save them. Had to run back to Whiterun on a summoned horse, hide in the Jarv barracks as a werewolf for a few hours. Then, as it was night time, picklock my way into Arcadias Cauldron to mix healing and magica regain potions to see me through to the morning and all of the next day. Managed to fight off about 50 minutes of real game time with depleting lingering health and magica damage. Not the relaxing session I was expecting.

@ Ashmie: 4 bottles of Skooma? I think it is time we have an intervention. You shouldn’t dapple in that Moon Sugar water. It just never ends well.

But I’m impressed that you can conjure a horse!


Spent myself a couple of hours before bed playing Skyrim. No grand shenanigans to speak of, but good fun as a prepare to face down Alduin.
