What did you do today.

Hi guys. Everyone has been very busy I see, from Mordheim warbands and cool terrain, 3D Printed Space Marine tanks, blue horrors and not so horrible cute little fiery Brimstones to old skool Griffons!

That Griffon looks like the one Eltharion used to ride around on - though I doubt Konrad would be interested in that little tidbit , with his aversion to poitned ears. Man when I was just getting into the hobby I loved that Eltharion on Griffon.

I did get to keep the rider, but I don't think is is the big E. Not quite that much plumage and no lance. He now sits in my bitz box, mixed in most ingloriously with broken Ork choppaz and zombie heads. I'll trade you for him if you want. He'd look good on one of your dinosaurs

I wanted to get my Orruk warband painted in time for games at Plamojuku and managed to get it over the line:



It's a lazy Contrast job (one thick coat) with a lot of mistakes but it makes me feel much less reigi tadashikunai playing against everyone else's pretty minis.

Well done on getting your minis done for the game. The contrast paints seem to be pretty useful, I may have to pick some up.

Still a lot of Space Wolves to do if I want to field them for Nagoyahammer and - crucially - change my mind on what list I'm going to take at least once a week for the next six months.

Over the weekend I finished off a few minis, with flock being added late last night. I'll try to get pictures taken and uploaded this evening once I get home.

As promised, some painted minis.

First off, some figures for D&D. The skeleton is an old GW mini, the others are by Reaper.
From left to right, A creepy spellcaster, a spooky skeleton, an OMG WTF is that?!? and a warrior.


And I finished off my last unit of Dwarves for Dragon Rampant.


And here is the entire force. I have now finished the warband and I am thinking what to paint up next (or maybe I should get more dwarves...) .

Nice whatever-the-hell-that-thing-is Prim! The dwarves are looking good, too. I get so jealous of people's actual painted armies Wah wah wah. Should probably stop playing quite so much magic, really...

But hey! Lo! and BEHOLD! I actually finished those oft whispered of in hushed tones, he'll-never-really-get-em-done ghosties that I've been mentioning on and off for what seems like geological aeons now. Nothing too special, but I'm fairly pleased with how the colours worked out. Also, while I had my background out, I took a pic of my dark elves for Warcry.

Those are looking awesome - have you played much with the dark elves in Warcry? How do they go?
