Took the train down to Chez MiJ in the wilds of Mie yesterday for a day of Underworlds - thanks for hosting!

This morning I boshed up the first batch of mdf terrain for kill team. Nothing too exciting, with weathering that's firmly "impressionistic rather than realistic," but I have a lot to get through.

I have been doing a bit of painting recently, so here is what I finished off the other day.
6 Ogres, who look a bit stripey from their encounters with Citadel Contrast paint. I may have to touch up the skin a bit.


And some standing stones for fantasy terrain.

I quite like the stripes, actually. Looks all savage and whatnot. I'd leave it, tbh.

And speaking of savage: who's a good boy then? Oo's a good boi? He just wantsiz tummy rubbed, doesn't ee. Aaaawwww...



And apparently, they have brands. Who knew?

The squigs look excellent, are they from Shadespire/Beastgrave?

@prim - aye, they’re from the goblin warband. 7 goblins and 2 squigs makes for the biggest (in terms of numbers!) warband in the game, and that’s despite there only being 7 deployment hexes on a board

Also, I neglected to thank Dave for coming down to Mie the other day. Many thanks to him and also Prim a few days earlier for making the trek through the darkest wilds down to my place. It is very much appreciated, chaps. I aim to get up to Nagoya at least once before naghammer, so hopefully I’ll see you all there

I finished up Thundrik's Busou-Shoutai for Underworlds this morning:


They'd been languishing primed for a bit, but they have so little to paint that's not metal they actually went pretty quick when I just applied my butt to my seat and got painting.
