June is ON! 6/28 at the Naka Lifelong Learning Center

Post by The Other Dave » Sat Jun 06, 2020 10:12 am

Looks like we're on for a June games day (knock on wood, please!)

Where: Naka Lifelong Learning Center near Kamimaezu
When: June 28, 9am to 4pm
This venue has rather limited parking that fills up quick, so if you plan to drive, get there early!
Cost is 500 yen for the day if you plan to play anything, as per usual.

Please bring a mask so we can practice social distancing.

I'll probably pack light (and not drive 'cause see above about parking) so I'll probably bring Underworlds and maybe WarCry OR Kill Team depending on what folks are interested in.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Yeeeessssss! I've been craving some tabletop hard!

I'm down for 40k, potentially a quasi Nagoya Hammer game???

And Malifaux if anyone's interested.

Wood knocked on.

I intend to go, mask on, hands obsessively washed.

Would like a game of 40K to provide impetus to paint; guess it depends if people want to give 8th a (second?) last hurrah or wait for 9th. Also up for Warcry/Kill Team/Underworlds as normal.

No promises but I'll try and make it too.

I'm slightly on the fence about 40k since I'm probably going to end up focusing on it once 9th is out so I might as well play everything else before its out. I might give Warcry a shot, or some AoS if I can find someone to play against.

I don't have any game in particular I want to play so if anyone has any requests for another game let me know.

The Corona Reset might be a good chance for me to get my Stormcast out of the box - want to try a Meeting Engagement for AoS?

Sounds good, would you rather face some spooky skeletons or some scaly lizardbros. Let me know what points limit you wanna go for too.

@Jye 40k?

I could also be into a skirmish game, but I don't have any stuff for them other than my 40k stuff that can be used for Killteam.

1000 is fine, just a straight Meeting Engagement from the General's Handbook.

Bring what you like, it's all good! :D

Sounds good to me, how many points? I'm more or less OK for anything (including Nagoyahammer "practice" if we want to keep the format).

@Jye Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm kind of craving a larger rather than smaller game. It's been a long time since I've played anything over 1000pts. Wanna go 1500? I have no lists in mind, so it might kind of just be me throwing down a bunch of stuff and seeing how it works. :D

Or I can always go 1000 if carrying a bunch of stuff is a problem.
