@Jye The headswap fits pretty decently. He looks like an extremely upset warrior priest which pretty much fits.
On the other hand instead of painting more models and getting ready for 9th to drop I've been making more terrain so I hope you guys aren't tired of seeing more pictures of boring grey terrain.


This piece started with me wanting to draw a hexagon (at 1am...) using a compass and turned into this trench-ish fortification.
Since its hard to make pieces with the smooth curves and sleek designs that Tau architecture is known for, I decided instead to go with the story that this is on a captured imperial world and is more likely being used by Gue'vesa troops than actual Tau troops.
Another thing I wanted to try with this piece was the Sept logo which I think turned out pretty decently. The outlines would usually be white and the logo would be black but since its terrain I decided to take some artistic liberty. I also thought about painting the logo but I though it might stand out too much and just painted it grey to match the rest of the piece.
I might stencil in some Tau writing on the outside to break up the grey but other than that I don't think I want to spend too much more time on it.
