Not a patch on our Fireblade and Parliamentarian friends, but I knocked out some of the Wolves' officer corps

Still not loving pelts as a thing to paint but the Apothecary White stage worked way better than I thought it would, might just go white wolves for the next few pelts.

That head swap on Ragnar Blackmane is pretty convincing. Good luck coming up with a suitable name if you haven't already.

I finally got my hands on some of the Tau aircraft for AI, still waiting on the box set though. My favorite AI models so far but I might be a bit biased. The heavy railguns look amazing and the level of detail on the model makes me almost scared of painting it. Hopefully I'll be able to find some time to paint them soon though.

Edit: Some size comparison.

@Jye - those are looking really good! I daresay you're figuring out how to make Contrasts work for you. (And the pelts look slick - if you don't mind the trouble, I'd stick with it. Pure white might not stand out too well vs. the gray of their armor.)

The weather cleared up, so I primed a bunch of stuff that'll be based in Leadbelcher. 4 plague marines, including the plaguecaster, for my Dusk Raiders plague marines, and my last two warhounds. I'm going "traditional method" with these guys, so they may take a bit longer than I've been getting used to over in Contrast Land.

It's going to have to be Ragnar on the table for clarity I think, not going to expect everyone to keep track of whatever random valkyrie name I've plucked from Wikipedia. But I might write something else down on the Crusade sheet

Those wolves look Pro - Painted!

Very nice.

@jye : wow, nice conversions, I like the use of terminator arms on the primaris, they look like a pretty good fit. Could I ask what is to become of Ragnar's actual head? I happen to be quite the collector of bare heads. Will you still be using it somewhere? Also bonus points for using the underworlds boards as back drops for photos ToD style.

@Karantu: looking good! Have you tried the dog fighting game yet? I've been wondering how that one plays.

@jus if you page back a bit you should find Ragnar in his new role as a Sequitor (where ironically he'll get much more tabletime owing to Warcry and Underworlds).

Let me know if you ever need Space Wolf heads though, I have a surplus.

@jus I've played a few games with the Imperial and Ork aircraft from the first box set but I haven't had a chance to play with the Tau yet. The movement mechanics and having to pick maneuvers blind makes the game surprisingly deep and tricky to master. If you're interested I could bring it with me sometime. It doesn't take much space to transport or play.

Thanes Hildr and Geirskogul continue to suggest to an indifferent Jarl Sangrior that her policy of encouraging fraternisation with the Adepta Sororitas has proven unwise in the case of their Blood Claw charges, who have gravitated to the Repentia
