Sorry guys, I'm back on the wagon again, so you get lots of my painting posts in rapid succession.

I finished up a couple Storm Eagles for Jye:

And will get in on the impressively-large Thunderhawk next:

Yessss, they are looking awesome!

I have been using the time Dave painting my planes has freed up to work on my Knights, which is slow going but should be doable by next game day.

@ Tod: Fantastico! very authentic. But the true masterpiece has to be your table top

Nice work on the planes, Dave! But what I'm looking at is the name plate on that titan. That's no Revenant, ya cheeky imperial thiefybugger! The pointy ears want their titan name back!

It's not a revenant, it's the Revenant, of course! Got a backstory and everything - nearly destroyed, its crew rescued, all that good stuff. (I may have put too much thought into the backstory and personalities of my battlegroup.)

Clearly, nobody has done anything since the 25th of November. :?

So, here's what I've done:

1. Painted a large man with rolled up shirt sleeves, a lady in her undies (and not much else), three ginormous smelly space marines, and most of another undie-lady. Pics will be posted when undie-lady 2 is finished.

2. Bought Cyberpunk 2077 in the Steam sale. Holy moly, this game is what I needed. I've been getting, honestly, a bit down about not being able to travel (especially, of course, back home) and it's been weighing on my mind of late. I'm sure y'all can empathise. But being able to wander about Night City has been genuinely good for me. Sure, it's maybe not somewhere I'd choose to go in real life, but as a proxy, it's hella fun. I also learned that I should never, ever be allowed to drive anywhere they drive on the right. Man can I not handle that car - I've only narrowly avoided splatting several pedestrians, and have smacked into more safety barriers than I can count. And that was just cruising around town. God knows how it'll be if I ever get involved in a car chase...

I'm chipping away at Knight #2. Nearly there but I want to do something for that big empty base, and I also really want to go on the week long holiday that I'm leaving for in 45 minutes

I've mostly finished the basecoat on the "aren't you a big fellow" Thunderhawk, but otherwise I've been a victim of my slightly-obsessive media consumption habits moving smoothly from Mass Effect to exploring some of the new stuff in No Man's Sky to now just apparently rewatching Arcane over and over. :?

I finally got my second scrapjet finished. These things really are a whole bunch of fun to paint, especially when I get to dirty them up a bit.

You need to play some Gorkamorka one of these days! Ork vehicles are so much fun. And make a very forgiving conversion project. If the lines aren't straight or the bitz don't quite fit, all the better.
