There's some really cool looking alternate heads too, but still only potato photos - the big LVO reveal should have plenty of nice pictures.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Alternate weapons too, looks like there's a spear as well as an axe.
I like it and look forward to ruining one with a very quick and dirty paintjob shortly before a game day so I can get that delicious stack of well-protected wounds and melta-profile damage on the table.

Here's the variant heads for the Avatar, as well as plenty of weapon variants:

I like the Greek-ish helmet-ish one a lot.
Maugan f**king Ra:

Shining Spears, which I'm old enough to still see as upstart aspect warriors:

Still, lovely paint job and I do like the helmets.
And a Corsair (which is for a kill team set so we may never get more than a squad of them, but still):

I think not even Konrad can deny that this is one bad-ass Eldar!

Oh lord that is a very nice model indeed. Hmm...I am sure he would help out an Exodite world every now and again.
Re: Let's have a GW rumors and sneak peeks thread!
Coming soonish:
Necro-morka??
Necro-morka??
Note the mention of vehicles in that last paragraph.Life in the underhive is a constant struggle against starvation, vicious gangs of roving killers, and breathtaking workplace safety violations. But for those who live outside the hive on the irradiated expanse of Necromunda’s hellish surface, all that’s basically just playing on Easy Mode. Welcome, scummer, to the Ash Wastes.
This major expansion is the biggest news for Necromunda fans in years, seeing intrepid gangs venturing into a far greater danger than the underhive. Parched sands and pools of poisonous sewage are the least of your troubles out here, as among the dunes live a people hardened to the many perils of the outside world, and they do not share their domain lightly.
So great are the distances between hives that even the most athletic gang won’t get far on foot, so what vehicles can be scraped together will serve your gangers well in the trials to come.

Ash Wastes is pretty danged natsukashii - I think the ash wastes supplement for Necromunda predates Conrad's beloved Gorkamorka even!
I'd be more excited about it if I was actually excited about Necromunda, although I'm sure we can count on some pretty awesome models for it.

Japan still seems to be facing shipping delays - no sign of new preorders this week either.

Re: Let's have a GW rumors and sneak peeks thread!
avatar is nice enough. No major complaints with him, altjough he could do with being a bit more "rrrraaaaaarrrghhhHH!!!" and a bit less "gerrorf my lawn" Looking at the original Mark Gibbons drawing, a bit more hair blowing in the wind and flapping loincloths wouldve helped. But hey ho, relatively minor gripe.
Maugan Ra is great. He's ridiculous and overblown, but then he's an ever-living space elf with a toxic shuriken flinging scythe and a skull mask. Overblown is kinda his thing. job's a good un.
Like Dave, I still see Shining Spears as the new kids on the block, but hey ho. I think jetbiking aspect warriors is a fine enough concept, and the minis do a decent job. I'm not familiar enough with the current jetbike design to say, but are the SS bikes significantly different to regular guardian bikes? I'd like it if they were.
Corsair guy is pretty cool. I like how he has an eye patch. Of course, I'd like him a helluva lot more if he didn't passively remind me of how they squatted my entire army of corsairs, but that's a whole 'nother issue, really. He's a decent mini.
*edit* actually, on second look, I like the shining spears quite a lot. As Dave says, the helmets are nice - they have elements of the Dark Eldar biker helmets around the collar, and the crest style is one we havent seen in eldar yet. And dat white - ooft. I like em.

First thing I thought of was Skeletor.......
And yeah, Ash Wastes! Oh what a lovely day. I don't think there was ever an official supplement for the Ash Wastes. No, no maybe a WD article or something? Lots and lots of fan-stuff over the years though. Very curious to see what sort of kits come out for that!
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
