And here's the Thrice-Blessed Hunter's sister engine, Blighted Frost:

I have to build up the bases on the reavers next, so they may take a bit.

Agreed that the nameplate looks very cool.

I had a chance to pilot the new Tau codex on TTS vs grey knights (no plans to actually start a Tau army). It seems oppressively strong at the moment - lots of ignore LOS shooting and high AP shots. But, I think the rules will actually be fair as long as the datasheets get some point increases. And don't let bodyguards protect Longstrike, that's just silly.

Those are some very nice Warhounds!

The Custodes are coming along one by one, which is a perfectly acceptable pace for that army. It also doesn't count as meta bandwagon jumping if the bikes I ordered are never delivered and the new Space Elf Reign of Terror arrives first 😅

Nice! Really cool to see some more Guardsmen. I'm really liking the colour scheme as well.

They are definitely fun to play in Kill Team, although there are so many unique abilities you have to keep up with for all the specialists. I really need to remember to bring my Kill Team next time!

Yeah, the plan is to stick with stuff that "makes sense" - the spotter calls mortar fire, the confidant can take over if the sergeant bites it, comms and medic are pretty self-explanatory. It's when you have to remember what a zealot or bruiser or hardened vet can do that it seems things could get (more) complicated.

Last night and this morning I reminded myself why Reaver titan legs are such a bear to put together, and doubly so on a base that isn't a completely flat plane. Plus I think I need some new plastic cement.

It's Aleya* and the last of my Allarus Terminators, so after the half-done Valerian I'll be out of primed Custodes until a warmer morning with a quiet local park rolls around.

* I reckon she's more likely to pop up as a sword Sister in Kill Team, or maybe standing in for the generic HQ but either way nice not to have to use a subset of a Sisters unit box for the job.

Here's what will be keeping me busy until spring, easily. Vive laFrance! It's a job for a buddy. The Golem will be for "Silver Bayonet" a Gothic horror skirmish that slipped under my radar. And I loved "The Duelists" so I cold not resist starting with them. La!

I actually did the Valerian last night but didn't take a photo until today so it counts as today 😅

@Jye - The blue armour on the Custodes is an interesting choice. It sets of the yellow of the 'bling' nicely.
@Konrad - Napoleonics are a joy/nightmare to paint depending on your viewpoint. That lot should look marvellous when you are done.
@ToD - Nice titan. The weathering really shows which god it follows.

As for myself, a few more of my recently completed minis.
All Reaper Bones.

Bones are fun models, I like that bureaucrat.

I finished up my third Mordaxis engine:

Playing around with masking tape has been really fun - slightly fiddly, but the results are hard to argue with.
