February 2025 Nagoya Games Day: 2/23 at e-able
Hi all,
The February 2025 games day will be Sunday, February 23rd, at e-able as we've been doing lately (link for new folks which I'd forgotten in the past couple announcements) in meeting room 4 same as January. As usual we'll have the room from 9 to 4:30, and it'll cost 500 yen for the day if you play any games, and nothing if you just come to visit.
I should be there again this month! We're tackling the titular Darkest Dungeon and likely getting our faces Cthulhu-esquely smashed in in the morning, then if Yellowstreak is still able to come I think we have a game of Titanicus lined up in the afternoon.

I'll be ready for Malifaux as always!

Great day of nerdery yesterday guys.
Wow, was that a full house or what? The room was packed!
And sorry I was late guys. Did we luck out or what with that Darkest Dungeon boss-fight? More like an "Inconveniently-badly-lit-Dungeon" this session.
The Lord of the Rings guys were up to the Riders of Rohan vs the Oiliphants....stomp, stomp,stomp...Rohan weeps tonight methinks.
And guys, MIJ, and other avid Blood Bowlers, there seems to be a proper league that just started. Had about 8 Japanese guys going at it, nicely painted teams, the whole deal. I only chatted a bit and did not get any details, anyone else know if it's an open league or a tournament or what?
And LUNAR is stellar! ha ha! What a fun game! Russians and "mericans, (and JAXA, and her Majesty's, and others) battling it out for moon rocks in this wonderful alt-history where the Russians got to the moon first. Delightful setting and great, great game design. That with Yellowstreak's running history of space exploration was just a blast. I can't seem to get Imgur to give me individual links for pics, so maybe this will take you to the post.

I should be there, I think with some flavour of Loyalist Marine. It'd be Aeldari Time but I don't think I'll have the new models primed, let alone painted.
I'll have some quantity of Spearhead and maybe Kill Team packed too for flexibility.

I can't make it in February, unfortunately. Hopefully see everyone in March.

If no one is available for Malifaux (idk if Balloonacorn wants to do the same thing two months in a row), if there's space I could play Darkest Dungeon, or if anyone would be kind enough I'd love to learn how to play Lunar.

I don't know if I will be there yet. It depends on if we go out of town for a karate tourney.Grantholomeu wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 7:12 amIf no one is available for Malifaux (idk if Balloonacorn wants to do the same thing two months in a row), if there's space I could play Darkest Dungeon, or if anyone would be kind enough I'd love to learn how to play Lunar.
If you can get another game go ahead. I can play something else if you are unavailable.

I can come this month. I can bring Kill Team again if anyone else wants to give it a shot (I can bring all the terrain and gubbins, as well as several possible teams if needed).
Failing that, I always put my newly painted terrain to work in 40k.

I'm afraid our DD game will probably be full for the upcoming finale!Grantholomeu wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 7:12 amIf no one is available for Malifaux (idk if Balloonacorn wants to do the same thing two months in a row), if there's space I could play Darkest Dungeon, or if anyone would be kind enough I'd love to learn how to play Lunar.

Whoa! "finale" as in "The Finale", last boss fight? I never thought we'd survive to see the day!The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 9:24 pmI'm afraid our DD game will probably be full for the upcoming finale!Grantholomeu wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 7:12 amIf no one is available for Malifaux (idk if Balloonacorn wants to do the same thing two months in a row), if there's space I could play Darkest Dungeon, or if anyone would be kind enough I'd love to learn how to play Lunar.
