I ought to be able to make it. My mom and sister&family are coming in for a visit the day after so realistically I'm 50/50. Might be some last minute stuff to do. Love to get back into the Fortress with Rogue Trader Captain Punchingbag. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 8:56 pmHi all,
July's game day will by Sunday the 20th, back at e-able in Higashibetsuin (venue link for any new folks). We'll be in meeting room 4, which is the usual room on the first floor. Cost is 500 yen for the day as per usual.
I'll have Blackstone in the morning, and am currently trying to arrange Legions Imperialis in the afternoon with Kondo-san. I'm hoping we'll be playing a small game, which might even leave me time for a little demo game if anyone wants to see how the game plays!
A reminder here since this thread is active that July 12th will be Kaijucon, which is mostly RPG-oriented but they've asked us to have a table of minis wargaming. At the moment it seems like that'll be just Jye and myself? But more are welcome!
Also a reminder that we've also got a Discord running (invite link here, which will be good for a week from posting).

I'm in for 30points. I'll need to read up on the rules, but hopefully we can all muddle along together.
Looking forward to flipping some cards

Conditions are gone. They have been replaced by tokens which must be on the table next to the model affected. Everyone needs to check their Crew Cards which list all the tokens your crew puts out and prepare them ahead of time.
In addition, their are "Markers" which include Bogs, Underbrush and Remains - take notice @Underweller, there are no more corpse, scrap, or stuffing tokens/markers. Everything leaves a Remains Marker and all markers are limited to 5 each. Not sure how Ressers work now but there can only be a maximum of 10 Remains markers on the board (5 friendly and 5 opponents) at any one time. I thought you should know.
Just a heads up
Also, the rules contain a complete time schedule of events on page 54 - 55, which is basically a summary of play.

That sounds better for me, actually. Assuming I can use any "remains" marker, and don't have to worry about where they came from. Really though, what's the difference between friendly and enemy remains markers? Dead is dead.Balloonacorn wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 11:20 amWith that in mind...me_in_japan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:35 amhopefully we can all muddle along together.

Sounds like things have changed quite a bit, I'd better start reading up.

This is real interesting philosophical question and beyond the scope of most table top miniature games. Strangely though it is very Malifaux. The Underdweller wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 3:57 amReally though, what's the difference between friendly and enemy remains markers? Dead is dead.

Thanks for the update! Looking forward to July 20th and the games planned. Count me interested for the demo! Also, if you need regional info, here’s a helpful Japanese jzip code resource.

Thanks for the games and company folks! Sorry if I didn't have bandwidth to chat around two big games of 40K, but they were good games and a lot of fun giving the Emperor's Children their first run. Winning one losing one was about right, and yet more evidence I need to go second to save me from myself
