Go right ahead and dismiss me man... we had so many people at the last event that there was hardly room for anymore.. I am sure all the people that had 2000 point armies made the trip and were very content with the way it was run.

Like I said I do not really care about it for me personally I will go as long as there is a chance to play 40k.

Unfortunate there are those that have told me they did not come because of the 2000 point games... they are not on this Forum and some of them do not speak English but they were very clear to me that large points games are an issue.

If I did not think it would help to draw in more players I would not be fighting for it.

I'm not trying to dismiss you, I dont mind smaller points limits. That has never been a sticking point. Personally I prefer larger games, but if people want to player at lower limits, then that is fine.
I guess that there are people who want to play small games and people who want to play big games. I would like to accomadate them if I can. That is one of the reasons why I ran the event the way I did last time with a variety of different sized games.

Additionally, if people say "I want to play but the high points values aren't good for me" do one of the following:
A) Offer to lend them an army. I have lots to spare.
B) Tell them "Hey, dont sweat it, we'll organise something specially for you, Prim is a cool guy and he will understand."
C) Tell me.

Dont turn around 6 months later and tell me that people had problems with it.

Anyway, basicially it is the Fun/Win aspect of the event I want to iron out, not the points values.

Was there a 2000pts game at the event in Golden Week last year?

I thought I told you about that... I keep telling people options A) and B) but the look on their face tells me all I need to know.

I hope so for your sake. :D LIike I said Ⅰwill be there but I wonder if there would not be better attendents if we knocked the points down and called it a tournament. That's all.

I don't think it should be a tourny because we already have one of those. I do think that knocking down the points might help.
