ditto on the cross on the face thing. Black Templars have a lot of style.

me_in_japan wrote:Dude! you actually managed to make marines look cool! and not like ultramarines in a different colour. Jolly good show!

re: clipping of pics: if we want to see your pics, we just have to right click em and select "view picture" or whatever your browser calls it. Fr example, in yon floury rhino shot, i know theres a colourful chap in the cupola and a poor schmuck dragging a crossy thing beside it.

alternatively, just resize your pics to have a max width of 600. Thats what i do...
The Black Templars are very specialized models.. They look very good.. because of this.. MIJ is right that they look different thats because thy play different an have a different Codex.. not only that they have their own models.. and special bitz...

BTW thanks for the help with the resizing...

thankyou all m ( __) m

@ spevna: oh yes please, Is it the one where the templars eyes are bright yellow like cats? I got the templar cross helmet idea from that guy. I've been trying to get my paws on a copy of that WD for untold billions of kajillions of years.

@ voss: hmm maybe. Forge world has a templar specific venerable thats kinda cool, but looks a bit too static. The iconography is great but the pose and helmet are a bit dorky. What do you guys think?

maybe if it was posed to be stepping forward and head swapped with a templar cross helmet, it might be ok. ,,,,the dark angel dread is cooler :(

Foolish Templar. The paint goes on the tank, not your hand! :D
Needs more black, unless you're going for the Charcoal Templars.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

You may want to move the guns to the front if you have not glued them in the back..

I can tell you from a lot of experience you will have problems getting in range... and getting in line of sight...

And people blame me for getting off topic...

I think once you are done with detailed work you can make the gray parts go black just give that thing a black wash you will be set...

Budding marine Fan Boys should be discouraged as much as possible. One method is de-railing their Plogs

P.S. @Jus: Like everyone else here, I like your stuff even if they are mere marines. Keep up the good work.
