One thing is, though, assuming this new game is set in the age of sigmar, how come she’s got feet? I thought the wood elves in AoS had hooves, like a Lorwyn elf? They did in Underworlds, anyway. Or are Skaeth’s lot not wood elves?

What's a "Lorwyn"? Scaeth's Wild Hunt and this one are Kurnothi. Looking at the Aelves we've seen in AoS so far, there's "normal" versions of Wood Elves, High Elves and Dark Elves - the Kurnothi, Lumineth and the denizens of Ulgu that we've only seen as the Khainite Shadowstalkers and the two Aelves from Silver Tower - and "weird" versions - Sylvaneth, Idoneth and Daughters of Khaine.

Presumably there's some variety amongst the Kurnothi. Some have feet, some have goat legs and some are centaurs.

That is very odd, they should really be special characters if they're going to rock 32s. Base sizes are a mess but I thought there was some kind of system with modern releases!

There is - they come with whatever the miniature fits onto. It's not like it matters hugely anyway.

Severina Raine was a Black Library Celebration miniature, like Eisenhorn, the Talons of the Emperor par and Uriel Ventris.

Lorwyn: a plane from Magic the Gathering. MtG has tons of planes, most of which have elves. Most MtG elves look like typical high/wood/dark elves. The ones on Lorwyn (or Shadowmoor, which is technically the same plane) like Rhys here, have hooves and horns and look remarkably like Kurnothi.

That’s what a Lorwyn is.

I'm not particularly sold on the GW paint scheme, but the model looks pretty cool.

That model certainly has its charms, but I feel like the sculptor couldn’t decide between a rat, a bat and a crow as familiar, and just decided sod it, let’s just have em all I don’t even know what that thing is on his base, either...

Apparently his thing in the fiction is that he spies on the city through the eyes of vermin. I agree though, we need some clarity about what exactly that thing on the base is. Cat/fox/badger?

Is that why both him and his cat/fox/badger have pretty much the same face? Other than that I feel like it's on the cusp of being way too busy of a model.

This model needs a really good back story to pull in the parts - I don't hate it but it seems a little too random at this point, too Matel- Robo-Choco-Hour

Cool. A manky old guy with too many 'orrible pets. I'm sure I've avoided him on the bus a few times. Usually they just make the local paper for having fifteen cats and a living room full of cat s**t.
