Some nice stuff, there. Big fat opinions in 1..2..3....aaaand go!
centaur lord - very nice. Pretty much what Prim said. He's a lovely big hairy beastie, though. Rating : Thumbs up.
Vampire...thing? Again, what Prim said. It's two nice minis sploodged into one slightly wince-inducing mini. I hate when centauroid minis have wings in place of arms. Just makes no sense from either a physiological or aesthetic perspective. If it was even a proper centaur with wings where a pegasus would have them I'd've been happier. And saying "having wings where a pegasus would have them" as the benchmark for believable physiology is a
really low bar...

Rating: hand wavy from side to side.
Mega-hairy vamp - sure. I'm not sure it says "lord of the night" to me, but I guess there's room for hairy barbarian vampires in the world. I agree with Dave that exploring new spaces is to be applauded, even if sometimes it's a swing and a miss (and I'm not saying this is a miss. It's a very nice mini. I just don't see why it's so large. Surely just keeping it at regular humanoid size would be better? Not all army commanders need to be super jumbo mega sized (and clearly GW disagree with me on this.) Rating : cautious thumbs up.
painboy: It's an ork, innit? I do like his grafted on legs, though. That's a nice touch, as are the screws attaching the skin to the metal leggy bits. Rating: Thumbs up.
Overall, I think today's batch of minis are very worthy. Let's see what tomorrow brings...
